Can You Be Signed In to Two Behance Accounts at Once on the Same Computer?

By ADSSPEED Team · Published · Updated · 6 min read

Can you stay signed in to two Behance accounts at once?

Not through anything Behance documents. According to Behance's Help Center (read 3 October 2026), you sign in with an Adobe ID, which is your email address, and the way to use a different account is to log out and sign in with another Adobe ID.

The Help Center pages read for this guide describe no account switcher for the website. Three options sound like switching, and the table further down shows that none of them keeps two accounts signed in together. Two accounts open side by side therefore need two separate browser sessions, which is what browser profiles provide. Everything below describes behance.net in a desktop browser; the pages read say nothing about switching accounts inside the iOS or Android apps.

What signing in to Behance involves

Behance is part of Adobe, so its sign-in is an Adobe ID. The Help Center page "Sign-In & Your Adobe ID" (last updated 7 September 2023) gives these basics:

TopicWhat the Help Center says
Login nameYour Adobe ID is your email address
Sign-up and loginSign up with email, or use Apple, Facebook or Google; unless you changed your login method, you log in the way you signed up
You already have an Adobe IDLog in to Behance.net with it and a profile is created, or click Activate if you are already logged in to Adobe elsewhere
Email checkVerify your email address to use every feature, such as uploading projects and messaging
PasswordReset or change it through your Adobe ID
BrowsersChrome and Firefox on PC and Mac, Safari on Mac only, Edge on PC only; the two most recent versions

Because the login name is an email address, the Help Center warns that punctuation matters: two addresses that differ by a single dot are two different Adobe IDs.

Three options that sound like account switching

Each is a real feature, but none is an account switcher.

FeatureWhere the Help Center puts itWhat it doesWhat it does not do
Switch Adobe IDsSettings, left toolbar, then Use A Different Adobe IDPoints your Behance profile at another Adobe ID, which becomes your login emailMerge two profiles or keep two accounts signed in
Use a Different Adobe ProfileSettings, after you confirm your passwordReassigns a Behance account to another Adobe profile, for example from a Business profile to your Personal profile, and logs you outMerge two profiles or overwrite one
Switch to HirerAvatar menuToggles between Hirer Mode and Creative Mode for Recruiter Pro subscribersChange which account you are in

The first row deserves care. It changes the login email of the profile you use it on, so it is a re-pointing tool, not a way to hop between two accounts. The Help Center also states that there is no way to merge two Behance profiles.

The documented route: log out, then sign in with the other Adobe ID

  1. Log out of Behance.
  2. Select Sign In in the top right corner of Behance.net.
  3. Enter the other Adobe ID and its password. If that account was created with Facebook or Google, pick that option instead, because the Help Center says you normally log in the way you signed up.
  4. If Adobe offers a choice of profiles, such as Personal and Business, choose the one that holds that Behance account.
  5. Check the avatar and name in the top right before you do anything else.

The last step catches the commonest slip. According to the Help Center, an empty account after login usually means you signed in with the wrong Adobe ID and opened a new, blank profile; the fix is to log out and try a different Adobe ID.

Ways to keep two accounts open together

OptionHow it worksGood forLimits
Log out and back inThe route aboveAn occasional switchOne account at a time, and a full sign-in every time
Separate Chrome or Edge profilesChrome says profiles keep bookmarks, history, passwords and other settings separateA few accounts you use every dayNames and colours to maintain; Behance's cookie and extension checks apply in each profile
Firefox containersMozilla says containers separate cookies, localStorage, IndexedDB and caches inside one windowTwo accounts in two tabsHistory and bookmarks are not separated; the Help Center pages read do not mention containers

The set-up steps are in the guide to separate browser profiles for Behance. A private window is not a substitute: Behance's Supported Browsers page suggests one only as a test for extension conflicts, and private windows and VPNs work differently from profiles.

If switching goes wrong

  • The profile is empty. The cause is usually the wrong Adobe ID, the wrong login method, or a profile choice you clicked through. See why Behance logs you out or opens a blank profile.
  • You keep being signed out. The Help Center ties this to browsers that block third-party cookies, covered in the same guide.
  • You do not remember the email. The Help Center tells you to complete the account recovery process and, if you cannot reach the email address, to contact Behance. It adds that for security reasons it cannot grant access to, merge, sync or delete accounts you cannot log in to.
  • You want to combine two accounts. There is no merge. The Help Center's workaround is to choose the profile to keep, make it a co-owner of every project on the other profile, and only then delete the other account. Deleting a Behance profile is instant and permanent according to the Help Center, so read its deletion guide first.

Where ADSSPEED fits

Most of this guide needs only Chrome or Edge. When the number of accounts grows, ADSSPEED, a desktop app for Windows and macOS, keeps a separate set of cookies, local data and browser settings for each profile, so accounts you manage stay signed in next to each other without logging one another out. Profiles can be opened, stopped and organised in bulk, a proxy can be set per profile or assigned to many at once, and profile data stays on your own computer. Android phone profiles, each with its own device configuration, run mobile apps on a PC. ADSSPEED is not affiliated with Behance and does not change Behance's rules.

Frequently asked questions

How do I switch accounts on Behance?

The Help Center's documented route is to log out and sign in with the other Adobe ID. The Switch Adobe IDs option in Settings is different: it points the same Behance profile at another Adobe ID and changes that profile's login email.

Can you have more than one Behance account?

The Help Center pages read for this guide set no number and do not call a second profile a violation: one answer even explains how to combine two personal accounts. Adobe's terms and Behance's Community Guidelines still apply to every account you hold.

Can I use Google to sign in to a second Behance account?

Behance's Help Center says that unless you changed your login method you sign in the way you signed up, and that Facebook or Google accounts are chosen at the prompt. Check which Google account is selected before you continue, since signing in with the wrong identity is what the Help Center blames for blank profiles.

Why is my Behance profile empty after I log in?

The Help Center says you most likely signed in with the wrong Adobe ID and opened a new, blank profile. Log out and try a different Adobe ID, and remember that punctuation in an email address matters.

Does Switch to Hirer change which account I am using?

No. The Help Center describes it as a toggle between Hirer Mode and Creative Mode inside one Behance account for Recruiter Pro subscribers. It does not sign you in as a different person or profile.

How can I keep two Behance accounts open at the same time?

Use a separate browser profile for each account and sign in to one account per profile. A profile keeps cookies and settings apart on your computer, but it changes nothing about Behance's rules or how Behance treats an account.
