How to Manage Multiple TikTok Accounts for a Brand or Clients with Business Center
How do you manage several TikTok accounts for a team without sharing passwords?
Use Business Center. An Admin links each TikTok account, the account holder approves the link in the TikTok app, and members get only the access they are assigned, so nobody needs another person's password. TikTok's Business Center help (read 3 October 2026) presents it as the hub for your business and advertising work on TikTok: you add advertiser accounts, TikTok accounts and other assets, invite people as members or partners, and give each of them permissions that fit their role.
Use only accounts you own or are authorised to manage. This guide covers the official tools; the rules behind them are in TikTok's rules for multiple accounts. If you also run ad accounts for clients, how agencies manage multiple client ad accounts covers the ownership model in general terms.
Business Center, Organization Accounts or TikTok Studio: which one?
| Tool | Best for | What TikTok's pages say |
|---|---|---|
| Business Center | Teams and agencies with many TikTok accounts | You need a TikTok for Business account to create one. Admins add members, partners and TikTok accounts |
| Organization Account | One brand profile used by many people | Created by an Admin of a Business Center that has completed business verification. Several members can log in at once, using codes. A PIN can protect sensitive steps in the app |
| TikTok Studio | A creator's posting and analytics on a computer | Opens at tiktok.com/tiktokstudio in a desktop browser, for creators aged 18 or over (newsroom, May 2024) |
| Personal account | One person's own profile | Not a team tool: the U.S. Terms say you may not let others use it unless TikTok permits it |
TikTok also says you can link only one TikTok account to one TikTok for Business account at a time (updated December 2025).
Roles: what Admin and Standard can do
| Action | Admin | Standard |
|---|---|---|
| Add or remove members | Yes | No |
| Invite or remove partners | Yes | No |
| Assign members to a TikTok account | Yes | No |
| Request access to a TikTok account | Yes | No |
| Be assigned to a TikTok account | Yes | Yes |
The table follows TikTok's roles page (updated August 2025). Finance roles can be layered on top of Admin access. When a TikTok account is linked, its permission level matters as well: Deliver ads is limited to advertising uses such as Spark Ads, while Manage account includes that and adds the ability to work with the account's organic, non-paid presence (updated September 2026).
Set it up step by step
- Create the Business Center. You need a TikTok for Business account first.
- Turn on 2-Step Verification. Only Admins can. In the Security section choose Edit, then Only admins or All members (updated April 2025). TikTok's best practices recommend asking all members.
- Add members. Open Users, then Add Members, enter the email address, and choose Admin or Standard. TikTok emails an invitation. Its add-members page (updated September 2026) says each Business Center can have up to 4,000 members.
- Link existing TikTok accounts. Go to Accounts, TikTok accounts, Add a TikTok account, Link an existing TikTok account, Send a QR code, and set Manage account. The account holder scans the QR code in the TikTok app and grants the permissions. Only Admins can do this, and the holder needs the latest app version.
- Or create an Organization Account. You need Admin access and a Business Center that has completed business verification. Choose Create a new TikTok account, then give a nickname and an operating region.
- Assign people. Go to Accounts, TikTok accounts, View, the Members tab, Assign a new member, choose the members and their permission, then Confirm.
- Agencies and outside partners. Open Partners, choose Add partner, enter the partner's Business Center ID or ad account ID, choose what to share, and confirm. Only Admins can invite partners.
Security habits TikTok recommends
TikTok's Business Center best practices (updated February 2025) say to:
- keep the number of admins low;
- limit membership to people from your own company;
- ask all members to turn on 2-step verification;
- switch on the Email Domain Allowlist;
- review who has access on a regular basis and remove inactive users;
- give each person only the access their job needs.
Off-boarding: when someone leaves or a client ends
| Who leaves | Where and how | What TikTok says happens |
|---|---|---|
| A member | Business Center: Users, find the member, Remove in the Actions column, Confirm, then enter the verification code | The member can no longer reach the Business Center or the accounts and assets assigned to them |
| A member of an Organization Account | TikTok app, as an Admin of that account: Profile, Settings and privacy, Account, Permissions, the three dots, Remove user | The user is logged out immediately and has no further access |
| A TikTok account | Business Center: Accounts, TikTok accounts, View, Unlink account, Confirm | It disappears from your list and your ad accounts can no longer use it |
| A partner | Business Center: Partners, open the partner, Delete, Confirm. For one TikTok account, use its Partners tab and Remove | The partner loses access, and active ad campaigns it runs with that account's identity are paused |
Who is responsible?
In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, TikTok's Business Terms (updated July 2025) say you remain fully answerable for what happens in connection with your Business Account, including what the people you permit do and your own decisions to grant or withdraw access. The U.S. Terms say separate terms govern services reached through TikTok For Business, Ads Manager and Business Center accounts. Keep a record of who authorised each person.
What if it fails?
| Problem | What TikTok says | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| A member did not get the invitation | The invitation is sent by email | In Users, click the member's email address, then Resend request |
| You cannot add a TikTok account | Only Admins can, and the holder must approve in the latest TikTok app | Ask an Admin, update the app, and share the QR code again |
| You cannot create an Organization Account | It needs Admin access and a Business Center that has completed business verification | Complete business verification first |
| You cannot sign in to an Organization Account | An Admin gets a login code in Business Center (Accounts, TikTok accounts, Get login code); on the website use Log in, Use phone or email, then email or username | Sign in with the username and the one-time password |
| The Business Center is locked or suspended | Review TikTok's notification emails | Follow them, then contact TikTok for Business support |
For login prompts and verification codes, see why TikTok keeps logging you out or asking to verify.
Where ADSSPEED fits
Business Center decides who may access which TikTok account. ADSSPEED works alongside it, not instead of it. It is a desktop app for Windows and macOS that manages many browser profiles, so the accounts you are authorised to manage can each stay signed in within their own profile without signing each other out. Profiles keep their own cookies, local data and browser settings, proxies can be set per profile or assigned in bulk, profiles can be opened, stopped and organised in bulk, and data stays on your own computer. Use it only with accounts you own or are authorised to manage. ADSSPEED is not affiliated with TikTok.
Frequently asked questions
What is TikTok Business Center?
TikTok's help presents it as the hub for your business and advertising work on TikTok. You add advertiser accounts, TikTok accounts and other assets, invite people as members or partners, and give each of them permissions that fit their role.
Can you manage multiple TikTok accounts from one Business Center?
Yes. An Admin adds TikTok accounts either by linking an existing account, which the holder approves by scanning a QR code in the TikTok app, or by creating an Organization Account. Members are then assigned to each TikTok account.
What is the difference between Admin and Standard in Business Center?
TikTok says Admins can use every function, while Standard members work only on the accounts and assets assigned to them. Only Admins can add or remove members, invite partners and assign members to TikTok accounts.
How do I remove someone from Business Center?
An Admin opens Users, finds the member, chooses Remove in the Actions column, confirms, and enters a verification code. TikTok says the removed member can no longer reach the Business Center or anything that was assigned to them there.
Can several people log in to a TikTok Organization Account at once?
TikTok says several members of an organisation can be signed in to the same Organization Account at once. Members use verification codes, which TikTok says reduces the risk of leaked passwords and unauthorised access.
How does an agency get access to a client's TikTok account?
The client's Business Center Admin can add the agency as a partner, using the partner's Business Center ID or ad account ID, and share chosen accounts. The Admin can remove the partner, or revoke its access to a TikTok account, at any time.
